FAQ
What is an "activist"?
Activism is the essence of political engagement. Through activism we make our voices and viewpoints heard. Through activism we unite with others to promote policies we favor and oppose those with which we disagree. Through activism we give life and spirit to our democracy!
Why should I take actions?
When you take action you are demonstrating your support for a better world. If you don’t act, you are demonstrating your acceptance of the status quo and all of its inequalities, favortisms, limitations for classes people, restrictions, and problems.
Have activists ever made a difference?
Yes. Names like Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and Gandhi were behind movements all about change.
What type of social problems do you work?
Criminal Justice, Voting Rights, Police Reform Project and others. See About Us section.
