The Fight For an Multi-Racial and Inclusive Democracy!”
We are bringing together Civil Rights Leaders, Community Activists, Entertainers and Families to celebrate the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The event will take place at Sherman Park from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM CST. It is essential to stand united. In addition speakers and entertainers we will transition to a delightful BBQ, where you can connect with fellow community members, share ideas, and foster a stronger sense of camaraderie. We will be grilling delicious food (including vegetarian options), playing games, and enjoying each other’s company. This event is not just about sharing accomplishments and voicing our concerns; it is about building bonds, celebrating togetherness, and making our community an even better place to live.
