In addition, he has ramped up his rhetoric and threat to impose mass deportations across the United States. Shockingly, the nonprofit sector is engaged in a major battle to defeat HR 9495 which would give unilateral power to the secretary of the treasury to revoke the tax exempt status of any nonprofit deemed to be engaged in “terrorist supporting activities”. Our show will discuss the implications of this rule and the need for us defeat this. Lastly , our host will discuss the urgent actions that President Joseph Biden should take prior to leaving office.

Following the results of the 2024 presidential elections, there has been much analysis and discussion about the reasons for the outcome and the negative consequences for civil rights and voting rights platformed in the incoming Trump Administration. Despite all of these many media stories, there has been a severe failure to cover the racism, sexism, and misogynoir that plagued this election. Hi Igniters For Change! The Igniting Change Radio show today will discuss the passing of the amazing poet Nikki Giovanni, and we will examine the ongoing public debates about the use of presidential and prosecutorial power. We will start this discussion with a segment previewing the upcoming motions hearing on December 11th in Glynn County, Georgia in the Jackie Johnson case regarding her alleged abuse of prosecutorial power by protecting the killers of Ahmaud Arbery. Co-Hosts Arnwine and Jones will be in attendance in support of Marcus Arbery and family during these hearings. The major trial of the case is set to start on January 21st, 2025. As promised four years ago, TJC will continue to be in this fight until there is 100% Justice for Ahmaud Arbery.
