Jonnita Dockens is the founder of Confidante Consulting, which helps small business owners with organizational development, event planning,  and marketing. In addition to working one-on-one with clients, her company serves the wider business community through its program Sipping with the Masters, an educational event with expert guest speakers. 

She  joined the TJC family in 2016 as a consultant responsible for event planning for the Millennial Votes Matter Conference.  She transitioned from a consultant to a staff member in 2023.  In her new capacity, she supports the GENZ/Millennial Votes Matter Leadership Conference and serves as Executive Assistant to the team. 

Throughout her career, Jonnita has accumulated a wealth of experience across various industries, demonstrating her flexibility and strategic acumen.  She has held positions at notable companies, including Deutsche Bank, American Hospital Association, American Bar Association, and the Social Security Administration, where she consistently delivered exemplary results and strengthened a culture of advancement and inclusivity. 

Her academic background includes a graduate degree in Human Resource Management with a concentration on Organizational Development.  She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Jonnita’s personal philosophy is HOPE – Helping Other People Excel.
